Rohit Sharma is one of the best players for the Indian cricket team and he is the one who always gets an extra second than the rest of the other players in this cricket universe to time the ball, he is a player who always loves to times the ball with perfection.

In his career Rohit Sharma has played all the three formats for the team and, in the year 2007 he came into limelight with his flashy innings in the T20 world cup against South Africa and since then he is a common name in the Indian cricket team and right now he is the vice-captain of the Indian national team and Rohit Sharma is the only player in cricket who has got more than three double centuries to his name in the One-day international format.

In January 2020 Rohit Sharma has also been named the ICC ODI player of the year by the International Cricket Council.

In his career rohit sharma family background never had to turn back since when in the year 2013 he started as an opener for the Indian team in the ICC Champions Trophy, he has got an extraordinary ability to shift his gear, though at the beginning of the innings he takes some times to settle after that when he managed to settle he has got the ability to kick on.


Though the superstar has extraordinary skills and also has achieved success in the limited over cricket for the Indian national team in the longer format of the game his career got sputtered, as he managed to get into the team in the year 2013, six years after he managed to get the debut in Men in Blue jersey.

Though he has managed to score back to back centuries in the Master Balster’s retirement series but in the total six years of time span, he only played 27 test matches for the Indian national team which brings many questions on his techniques and abilities.

Rohit Sharma as a test opener also failed to do something which will concrete his spot in the national team, Rohit Sharma has a great record in the home soil test matches where he managed to score three centuries and nine half-centuries but still couldn’t manage to cement a regular starter on the tea, now the Hitman is 33 years old and team India cannot expect to be him the Shewag overnight in the test format.

But he is the ideal player when it comes to One-day international matches and the T20 matches, as he has becomes a totally different player in these two formats of the game and his wonderful performance in 2019 is unforgettable, as he is the one who managed to score five centuries in the world cup but still teams India failed to live up to their expectation in the Semi-Finals against New Zealand.
